NE Portland Wireless Tower

Clearwire meets with the Beaumont Business Association to talk about its proposed wireless internet and phone antenna at 37th Ave. and Fremont in NE Portland. The company’s efforts to install the antenna have come under fire in the neighborhood, thanks to the efforts of RespectPDX.org. RespectPDX opposes the antenna, saying it will lower property values and could affect the health of people who live near it. The group plans a protest outside the meeting.
