URBAN RESERVES OPEN HOUSE
Metro opens a second week of hearings and meetings on plans to set aside about 29,000 acres of land as urban reserves in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties. This is a chance for the public to view maps and other information, as well as ask questions. Tonight and tomorrow’s events are open houses. Thursday’s event includes a public hearing

The three known candidates for Metro Council President meet in a forum tonight to discuss sustainability, focusing on the environment, social equity and the economy. The forum is sponsored by AFSCME Environmental Caucus, AFSCME Local 3580, LIUNA Local 483, and the Coalition for a Livable Future.
