Solar Oregon is asking for help to put together the group’s first ever road trip to Northeast Oregon. It’s part of the non-profit’s Road to Solar program, which brings together businesses, government, schools, homeowners and utilities with the goal of encouraging more use of solar energy.
What is it looking for from the public? Solar Oregon is competing for a $5,000 grant from Brighter Planet. To get the money, it has to get the enough votes for the project on the Brighter Planet website.

Good question!
I never heard back from Solar Oregon about this. I’ve sent them a message and when I find out how things turned out I’ll update the story.
