Green Events Thursday: Restoring The Willamette And Banning Boat Motors From Waldo Lake.

What will it take to restore fish and wildlife along the Willamette River in Portland? That’s the work of a group known as the Portland Harbor Natural Resource Trustee Council. Made up of government agencies and tribes, the council is working on a plan to help native species along the lower Willamette recover from decades of pollution. It’s holding a public meeting about the plan tonight.

The Oregon State Marine Board holds its final public meeting on a proposal to ban gas powered boat motors from Waldo Lake.
