Governor Kulongoski heads north of the border to Seattle where he’ll meet with EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson and Washington Governor Chris Gregoire. This is Jackson’s first visit to the Pacific Northwest as the head of the EPA. The three will take part in a forum on a Clean Energy Economy.

How can cities and towns grow without adding to climate change? The Oregon Environmental Council will try to provide some answers at a series of workshops this month called, “Cutting Carbs”. The first one starts today in Salem, two more are scheduled next week in Central Point and Springfield. The events are designed for professionals and you’ll have to register to attend.
