My question is: Where (if any) documentation on the earliest Oysters, did they migrate here in the Pacific N/W? Were they introduced by Foreign Ships of long ago Mariners? Were they a stable to the diet of local Indians? Most of the 'mittens' I've observed at the 'Indian digs' are clam shells, where are the Oyster Shells?
